Our Story
My name is Beatrice Gilbo, I am the mind and designer behind the brand. I am going to tell you a little bit about my story, I come from Italy, Rome, but I moved to South Africa at the age of 18 by myself after a memorable adventure in Cape Town. I fell in love so deeply with the country that I decided to leave behind my family and friends and start a new life, South Africa is now my new home and I'm constantly amazed by its incredible contrast and magnificent nature. I studied film and cinematography in Cape Town, and I am currently a Yoga instructor.
Jewelry and history have always been a passion for me since I was a child, I've always been fascinated by minerals since a young age and my Mom used to hide a small piece of clear quartz in my pillow to protect my dreams.
I have always had a deep interest in Art, History and Mythology, I studied classical Studies in Rome learning about philosophy and ancient language like ancient Greek and Latin. I am really passionate about this brand. I started in a very organic way creating small objects by myself to give away as protection to my friends and loved ones, from there to this point I have grown so much and so much work and energy has gone into this project. I wouldn’t be able to realise this, without the help of my boyfriend and the support of my amazing team. I am really grateful to be here and to show you what we have been working on.
